A contemporary take on the classic Onion Lantern, the Nova Onion Lantern has quickly become a staple at The Nauset Lantern Shop. Derived from the Latin language, nova means new beginnings. In the world of astronomy, nova refers to the birth of an extraordinarily bright star. As graduates of Villanova, the new owners of The Nauset Lantern Shop wished to create a lantern of their very own. As its name suggests, the Nova represents a new chapter for The Nauset Lantern Shop, with new owners, new lantern designs, and a new perspective on a local business founded in 1959!
