Navigation Wall Lantern

With its unique design, the Navigation Lantern is proudly an original of The Nauset Lantern Shop. Simply put, it is a show-stopping piece of artwork. Its hexagonal shape adds dimension and great character to any home. Lovers of the ocean adore the nautical, fresnel lens of the lantern, which mimics coastal lighthouses. 

With a special marine lens that optically intensifies its light, the Navigation is an adaptation of the brass anchor lanterns used for working on early Nantucket ships. On American fishing and trade vessels, the clear lens could be found at the center and stern of the boat, the red at the port (left) side, and the green at the starboard (right) side.
