The original Colonial candle-burning Barn light can be found in the old Quaker Meeting House located on Cape Cod on historic Spring Hill Road in East Sandwich, Mass. The handle permitted portability to all areas of Early American settlements and worked well on a harvest table or hanging on a wall. The Barn Light size large features a pewter reflective plate. The Barn Light size extra-large features a mercury reflective plate. The size (height) of the lantern should be 1/4 to 1/3 the height of the door. Back box dimensions, as well as height dimension, can be changed.
