The Boston Lantern was inspired by an Early American copper three-sided lantern that was often used in political campaigns. Candidates pictures were painted on the glass and then carried from rally to rally. Also available in an Open Bottom style (no door, access to the light is from the open bottom) with the light bulb hanging down.The size (height) of the lantern should be about 1/4 the height of the door. Back box dimensions, as well as height dimension, can be changed.
